A Massachusetts licensed attorney since 2023, prior to launching Belmont Legal PLLC, Katharine previously served as an Associate Attorney for Project Law Group PLLC (Cambridge, MA) and Peters Immigration Law PC (Woburn, MA). She also has several years of paralegal experience from Iandoli Desai & Cronin PC and Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP (Boston, MA). In addition to her practice, Katharine serves as an Adjunct Professor in Legal Research & Writing for New England Law | Boston.

Alyssa Stone

Immigration Paralegal

Alyssa has been working in the broader legal field since 2018 and began focusing on immigration law in 2021. In this time, she has gained experience within personal, humanitarian, and business immigration and brings this breadth of knowledge to our team. Prior to joining Belmont Legal, Alyssa served as Immigration Assistant for the nonprofit Ascentria Care Alliance (Worcester, MA) before transitioning to business immigration as Immigration Assistant at McLane Middleton, P.A. (Boston, MA), and Business Immigration Paralegal at Peters Immigration Law, P.C. (Woburn, MA).

Ashley Gomez

Legal Fellow

Ashley has been working in immigration law since 2023, gaining hands-on experience in immigration and compliance matters. Prior to joining Belmont Legal, Ashley served as an Immigration Assistant for the law firm Harlan York and Associates (Newark, NJ). In this time, she assisted and prepared a vast array of marriage-based and victim-based petitions, managing case documentation, and supporting clients through USCIS processes in both English and Spanish. Additionally, Ashley has experience in regulatory compliance and documentation review at Business Credentialing Services (Parsippany, NJ) as a Compliance Analyst, which allowed Ashley to strengthen her analytical and organizational skills relevant to the business immigration practice. She has further experience in the family law sector, providing legal research and litigation support.
